Former Bio

 Farrah’s Art Shop was inspired by a lifelong connection to art, home, and the vibrant spirit of Houston. Farrah’s journey in the city began as a baby when her family moved from the North to Texas during the oil boom of the 1980s. Houston became their home—a place full of opportunity and diversity—and it has been her home ever since.

As a teenager, Farrah discovered her love for art in the midst of Houston’s rich culture and community of Alief,TX. Over time, she honed her craft, building a collection of over 300 unique works of art and counting.

Now, as an artist and lifelong Houstonian, Farrah reflects on the city’s growth and transformation. Inspired by the welcoming spirit that embraced her family, she founded Farrah’s Art Shop to offer a bit of southern artistic hospitality, helping newcomers feel at home in this ever-changing city.
